Question?...Did you straighten out the throat/neck area, or did Gerry already do it for you? I like yours and straighten the throat on probably 99% of the flat horns I have made and I have made a couple.

I didn't try to straighten it any more than it was when I received it, I took a bit of the curve out during the filing/scraping but its still there

I would have tried had a realized it would be a bit wonky. would hot oil be enough to soften a thick throat for straightening?
