I have been muzzleloading for a few years, and have taken a few deer and elk with my percussion GPR.
I ordered a custom .58 cal Tennessee Mountain Rifle in 2006 and received it in January of this year. I spent 9 days this past September hunting elk, but only had one close call withot a shot being fired.
With a few inches of fresh snow and a late season doe tag in my pocket, I went up the mountain this morning hoping to make some smoke.
It did not take too long to locate a group of deer, and I was able to get within 70 yards undetected. After a few minutes the lead doe gave me the opportunity I had been waiting for, and made a perfect double lung shot.
I'm now officially hooked, what a thrill!!
