Hey guys,

I'm pretty new to black powder shooting, and so I really don't know much about how to get the most out of my 1851. Should I stick to round balls? Will conical rounds not work well in a brass frame revolver? How many grains of FFFg should I use? One manual I got with the weapon said to use a paltry 12g, others online have said that 20 is optimal. What is the proper way to grip the pistol? One hand? Two hand? Any fine little details with how fingers should be positioned on the weapon? Thanks in advance for the help.
