Flags captured by the model of human compassion, Banastre Tarleton, will be displayed for the first time in Charleston, South Carolina. It's still in the family too! Click here.

Gary,
I grew up about 20-25 miles from this battle site. I live in Charleston now, and was able to see the flags this past weekend. I'm a CW collector, and have seen several CW flags, but these were the first original Rev War flags I have seen. They are extremely well preserved.

Could you give us a good description of the designs? Did they permit photos?

Thanks,
CS
