I have a new Frontier by Pedersoli. How do I determine the right size flint to use?

Measure the width of your frizzen and choose the flint that is the closest to that size but doesn't exceed it.

If it is too wide the flint will either hit the side of the barrel, the side of the pan or both, resulting in shattering the rock and marring your gun.

My Pedersoli .45 Blue Ridge/Frontier takes the 7/8" flints. It's a big flint for a big lock, but what a sparker!
