Recently took a trip to the Wallace Collection in London, look at these beauties

Exquisite!! I've been fortunate enough to see true museum quality works of art like these only once. That was in the Tower of London. It just astonishes me of the level of beauty they could achieve considering the tooling available at the time (1650-1800?). I'd be interested to know how long (man hrs / years? ) it took to complete an elegant rifle like this.

I went to the Wallace collection in May. Great museum, though it took me a bit to find the arms and armor hall!

The second best thing about the Wallace Collection is that it's free! Largest private arms and armour collection in the UK.....

Yeah, that courtyard in the middle is very pleasant for a drink.

For any gun enthusiast living in or visiting England, the Royal Armouries is also worth the stop.
