Excellent report and photo. That 65FFFG loading is exactly what I use to shoot conical and PRB. It is accurate and plenty fast enough. Glad to read that is can drop them at the spot without the spine hit. Good to know. Hope you tag another soon.
 
That is awesome. Great job! I've been out trying to get a doe with my 40 Southern Mountain Flinter. Waiting for the perfect shot.

Well, last day of deer and elk season for me. Hunted hard, but just could not find a deer, or elk. State land has been hunted pretty hard this last week. Both bow and ML hunters sharing the same late season. I hunted hard, and slow, and careful, really thought I'd have a pic for this thread, but no dice. Did enjoy the day sneaking around with my Jeager, and my Remington Navy though. From now until March, I can still hunt cougar, and hopefully I can get a shot at the great big grey kitty that I know of.
