Here’s my latest build. 19ga. Right barrel rifled, 1-50 twist. Left barrel smooth.

LMF Lancaster red stain. Permalyn finish. Barrels are blued, then a coat of permalyn. The barrels were a flea bay find. The bores are not new, but very good.

regular LMF Lancaster Maple straight up, or mixed with their cherry? it's a great looking finish.
i've never used Permalyn on a barrel, very interesting and excellent results!

Straight up. But several coats, shellac sealed, sanded back, then permalyn. The barrel finish is very durable.

Off the shelf bullseye clear. The breech plugs were made from Thompson Center flint plugs turned round, then white lightning liners installed.

Very nice! I have a buddy that has all the metal parts and no stock. He wants me to build him a gun. Have not done a double barrel yet. Yours is inspiring!
