I was wondering if anyone had any insight into the origins and time frame for this flintlock pistol. I was told that it was probably German / Austrian. There are no markings anywhere. The lock is bridleless and it is a smoothbore.

Awesome looking pistol! Have you looked on the bottom of the barrel or inside where the wood covers up the barrel? There could be stamps hiding from view.

Yes. I took it completely apart. No markings apparent.
