Flintlock Pistol

My son is looking for a flintlock pistol. He does not want a kit but rather a good "entry level" flinter. At one time, Lyman had a flintlock pistol but I have not been able to find one listed. I have a GP flintlock rifle and I my quite pleased with it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Pedersoli has several flintlock pistols. I've been very happy with my .50 Cal Kentucky reproduction.

Dixie Gunworks has a few Kentucky style Flintlock pistols but their prices are asking for an arm and a leg.

Give Deer Creek Products a call at 765-525-5181 (they don't have a web site). Their 2008 catalog has a Traditions Trapper flintlock pistol for $257 on page 44. I have no idea if they still have any in stock.

It wouldn't hurt to place an ad in the "Firearms wanted" section of the Classified Ads here. I also do a regular search on 3 firearms online auction sites.
