[/ CITAR]

Hello, thank you very much, it really is a very beautiful and rare piece.

I don't read Spanish but the Google Translator says the original post says:

Hello friends, I have been offered this Spanish rifle. The seller asks me to make you an offer. Does anyone know what the price of this rifle may be? Thank you.

Being the moderator that I am, I must mention Rule 3 of the forum:

The divot in the cheek piece is interesting. Never seen that before. Why don't you start at $100 and see what he says. Chances are he will tell you his real number he has in mind after that. I always think it's incumbant on a SELLER to know what it is that they selling, rather than the BUYER to tell THEM. caveat emptor.

the divit in the cheek piece is very common in 1777 CHARLIEVIEL muskets so a soldier can get a better sight picture by getting his cheek in line with the middle of the barrel to use the bayonet lug as a sight. the mod. 1775 did not have it.
