I bought a Chambers PA Fowler kit a year and a half ago. I have the skills to finish it but when I had the time I would rather be forging and finish knifes. Making a trade with the fellow form member knives for a finished Fowler. we both get to do what we enjoy
Looking forward to hunting with it this year!

These smoothbores just burrow under your skin like non other.

They are not pinpoint accurate.
They are messy.
They are expensive.
They are cussed.
They (for some gosh awful reason) addictive.

Overall the flintlock smoothbores are troublesome to get the hang of and yet ... we all huddle round them like they are God's gift.

Well guess they are God's gift. And so fun to figure out with the MOST amazing feeling of success when it all comes together.

Thank God for foulers!!!

Flintlock Smoothbores are still awesome !! :)
