Flintlock Traditions kentucky pistol mods.

Hello guys. looking for ideas of ways I could mod my traditions pistol to look a little more correct. I am thinking of slimming down the overall profile a bit and if possible fixing the ugly birds head grip. If any of you other guys have done something like this I would like to see pics.

Start with the lock panels. Look at an original and the differences are huge!

Ill start it this weekend. I hope to finish up a little drop point bag knife I forged from a file too.

Yeah it looks like most of them have just enough wood to meet the face of the lock plate and do not have that big flat area there like mine does.
