I'm with silverfox. I have bought dozens from Rich. He knaps them himself from Missouri chert. They are great sparkers and at a great price   .

I've only bought them from Track of the Wolf so far. The black English flints have worked really well for me so far.

Just about all of the ML parts venders has the Tom Fuller Black English Flints & they are top notch in my book. Tracks, MBS, Log Cabin, Tip Curtis, Jim Chambers Flintlocks, The Possibles Shop, Cain's Ourdoors, October Country, etc. carry them.
As previously stated, Rich Pierce makes some white/gray flints & they work pretty good & are very reasonable.

Rich Pierce is the nicest person you will run into to do business with, he also makes some very nice flints. He goes out picks up the flint and makes them one at a time, I like doing business with someone who enjoys what they are doing.

I also buy from TOW as they have a good selection and you can see that actual size of the flint in the catalog.

Richard, pretty well sums up the flint question. I to think Pierce is hard to beat. The BEFs are great but supplies and price have been a problem with Fuller selling out his ownership. :hmm:

Dryball don't hesitate to call Rich Pierce , you'll have good flints in your hands in about 3 days.Plus a little letter explaining the care of his products, his service is unbeatable

I bought 3 dz off Rich last year and he told me not to send any money, to try them first. How can you beat that.
