I just recieved my sight today. I'm more than pleased with it. I mounted it on my TVM .62 fowler. It can fold down out of sight to use the fowler with shot charges with front sight only, and folded up, leaves plenty of room for adjustment for roundball loads. My application required a slightly longer base to drop it out of sight when folded. It's just what I needed to dial in my roundball loads, as I could never get a repeatable sight picture with no rear sight, and hated the thought of a permanent rear sight for occasional roundball use. Folks..buy with confidence, I'm quite pleased, and had my sight in 7 days from sending payment, and it's much more than my meager machining skills could imagine.

This folding tang peep sight is being fabricated to order, on an ongoing basis. It is suitable for use on rifles having a three inch tang and can be mounting using the existing tang screw as shown below. It is not suitable for long lollypop or Hawken type tangs due to the height of the staff.

The sight is intended to be used in conjunction with the existing barrel sights. Flipped it up for longer range shots or when more precise sight definition is desired. It is adjustable for elevation by moving the orifice disc and windage is adjusted by turning the pivot screw.

The standard aperture diameter is 0.070”. Larger or smaller aperture size is available upon request. Some shooters have wanted a small diameter for target and an additional larger one for hunting. The aperture disc is blackened to reduce glare.

I can supply the sight with a polished and browned 8-32 flat head lock bolt which affords a more rigid mounting and which can be cut to proper length.

Because different rifles have different wrist geometry, the sight base is slotted to provide a greater range of elevation adjustment. While sized for the 8-32 screw the slot can be made to accept a larger screw upon request.

The sight is $80 - Add $3 if the 8-32 lock bolt is desired. Additional aperture discs are $10 each. Fabrication time is usually 2 – 3 days. There is no charge for shipping and if it doesn’t fit your rifle, just send it back for a refund.

Please send a PM for payment information or for answers to any questions.

I really like the ones I haveView attachment 340332
I got mine, got it installed and zeroed, and love it. I spent the better part of my adult life looking down the peep sights of one M16 variant or another, and it brings back that familiarity. I went for a quick morning squirrel hunt yesterday even though I only saw two squirrels and ended up with one I love the way this sight works in the woods.

Tom A Hawk, I just came across this thread while searching the web for a peep and it is exactly what I’ve been in need of. Not sure if you’re still making/selling them. I just registered as a new member on the forum and I’m not sure I have access to emailing you or how to get ahold of you. Hopefully you see this and help me get ahold of ya. Thanks in advance!
I recently bought one for my 36 cal Squirrel Rifle, and it made a world of difference. I missed a lot of shots simply because I couldn’t see the small notch in the rear sight. Not an issue now. I am back to stacking them up like I did 40 years ago.
