I forged this one from an old leaf spring. It has a 6” blade with a 4-1/2” deer tine handle, iron pin and pewter bolster. Thanks for looking!!

When I find the old leaf springs I heat treat and temper them like I would 5160 after I run a couple of normalizing heats on them. I use two Evenheat ovens and try to hit exact temperatures for hardening and tempering. They make nice knives. I have quite a few bars of bought 5160 that I make knives from and I can't tell any difference in the end
