Well made with full tang and thick forged blade. It holds a great edge and is razor sharp.

The blade is old and I don't know who made it. I refinished the knife, sharpened it, and then made the sheath. The other knife I am selling is 100% mine.

Schnitzler & Kirschbaun 1822 to 1865. Supplier of weapons to Switzerland, Austria etc., and US Civil War.
Schnitzler & Kirschbaun marked their blades with an "S & K" stamp. I don't believe I ever saw where the "&" character was not included at any time in their productions, however, I am not 100% certain they didn't at one time. Just sharing what I do know.
