Hello Liste -
I just wanted to introduce myself as new to this forum. I have been muzzleloading for quite a few years. I have never been hunting with one, and am working up to try. I am starting to get into reinacting, 18th Century to fit with my folks stuff, and 1812 to fit with my daughters and Ft Meigs nearby. I love to shoot, sew, camp, and believe it or not, teach. However, I am a banker by trade (who has seen NO bailout $$ her way, and probably never will). I am going back to school to earn a history and business degree.
Thank you for this wonderful trove of information!
Thanks!
Gretchen

Hello Gretchen and welcome! Sounds like this is a family thing if I am reading your intro correctly. You will make many new friends here and while doing re-enactments. What part of the country are you doing this?

Hi Gretchen.... Before I moved to Colorado I used to play at Fort Meigs a lot. Great place to hang out, had many good times there. But, I haven't been there for about seven years now...

I don't mean to answer for her, but Fort Meigs is in Perrysburg, Ohio on the Maumee River. Just outside of Toledo....
