I grew up relatively close to there and never realized Fort de Chartres was there until after moving. I'm glad to see this happening:) I hope to make it someday

Well, the spring Fort rendezvous is over, I really can't say I had a good time it was 20% fun and 80% hades. It didn't get below 90 degrees any of the days. At 72 I just can't deal with the heat as well as I used to. I've always preferred cool to heat anyway, I'd much rather do 30 degrees to 90, I can put on enough to stay warm but can't take off enough off to get cool.

Bill sent me the pic, I was like…Dang! Look at that old fart! You can tell it was a bit warm. The wool vest and cravat were put aside and a linen rag with crushed ice wrapped in it was used instead. 😂

Man, I see that pic and makes me hot looking at it!!! Does anyone know where I can get a Vendor list for this past event? I left some trousers with a lady to be hemmed. I wrote everything down, but I have since misplaced the info. I am not concerned about them, just want to follow up with the nice lady. She was selling clothing and such, I bought some linen knee pants from her. They had a blue sign out front. I just cant remember the name of the business.

Makes me hot looking at your photo also...that had to be one of the most uncomfortable events I have attended.
I'm not sure about the vendor list I generally do business with the "Historical hat lady" it's where I've gotten most of the clothing for my young servant.
