Anyone else going to the 18th c market fair at Fort Fred this weekend?

I'll be in the barracks with the Maryland Forces.

I'm sort of broke right now, but it'll still be a good time.

My son and I are going Sunday. Went last year for the first time. Very interesting, lots to look at. About 100 miles for us.

I stumbled upon the Fort Frederick Trade Fair the first year and was hooked. We really enjoyed the Fair, my freimd has come from as far as Turkey and Germany when he was stationed overseas. The weather forcast for late this week and weekend is outstanding. The Fort Frederick event is a must see.

I'll be there camping and shooting with the Mississippi Company of Roger's Rangers.

This has been a good event, we haven't been there for several years, but this will be our 7th visit. We are really looking forward to the weekend.

The kiddo and I made it to camp for the weekend. Had a great time but we ended up bailing out early on Sunday. Way too early for 90 degree heat. I was happy to see the camper's attendance up and plenty of sutlers as well. I picked up a stock blank, knife and shirt for my son and had an incredible feast Saturday night. All in all a good way to kick off the year.
