You have to register on the modern side at the clubhouse.

I'd try to get there by 7:00, if possible, to avoid the traffic jam. Even then there might be some traffic.

... SOME of us...like myself, prefer a slender 40 caliber precision instrument  , while others feel the necessity to drag along a virtual Napolean smoothbore field piece. :shocked2: :shake:
That said...it is fun to see those Big Bores really SMACK the long gongs when used by someone who knows how..!!

Just to be clear - some folks find it necessary to make all these scratches on the inside of their barrels in order to hit something. I consider that whole "rifling" thing to be a passing fad

For the record, the very first Forum Woodswalk was won by a guy shootin' a Brown Bess.
Just sayin'.

I have to admit, September was my first Woodswalk and I got a lesson on what a quality smoothbore can do, in the hands of someone who knows how to shoot it.
It is such a treat to see someone ELSE absorb the excessive blast and recoil from their big bore :)youcrazy:)I'll volunteer to help carry the extra lead and powder required to get their field piece on target, since the load for my Squirrel rifle is pretty minimal.

To all considering this event....Bring whatcha got  ...we'll enjoy meeting and shooting together once again.
Pray for DRY weather.
Note to Barry: I hope the soles on those nice boots have worn in a bit by now..!!

I will start things off by offering a noon start on Sunday, June 12.

1:00 would work better for me because of church, but if you all decide on 12:00 I'll try and work around it.

OUCH..!!!
Well, cinch'em up tight, and let's go..!!
Heck, I even have a new hat for the occasion 😎.

I'm so bummed I can't attend friendship... I'm having surgery on the 9th. Thoroughly disappointed, I've never had the opportunity to attend but I know it's one holy place!

I hope I can do the woodswalk this year. I have done the fort Vallonia shoot 3 times and went to friendship a couple of times but have never done any shoots there. I am going to try to be there this year but am still unsure of my schedual.

I would like to attend the woods walk on sunday also, if that's o.k.
I never did a woods walk and have been wanting to for a long time
