What do you guys think? Lock has a functional half and full cock and was obviously a flint at some point. Age, region etc?

Interesting. Was this originally a full stock, flint rifle that was converted to smoothbore? Looks to me that the barrel and stock are not original to each other. I don't know why but to me that firearm screams New Orleans.

i believe it was a smooth bore originally, the stock has obviously been cut but appears to have been done long ago. Makeshift nose cap installed. Stock has been “worked on” or stabilized at one time. The barrel fits to will in the places that are left to be from a different gun I feel. Either way I figured for 75 bucks can’t go wrong!
