.45 Caliber Left Hand Flintlock Kentucky style pistol signed by Frank Burton. A quality builder active 1960's-1970's. Nicely figured stock, pewter nose cap, silver front sight blade on the 10" barrel with great bore. Nicely engraved brass mountings and silver heart thumb piece inlay. Ashmore Warranted lock which was sold by Dixie Gun Works during that period. Shows honest finish wear for it's age, overall in nice condition.

The Ashmore/Dixie lock is a winner! The first longrifle I built was a .32cal. which fired 16 times without a misfire on it's first outing. Wish I had a couple of those locks now. George.
