I recently picked this up at a local auction from a museum that was downsizing. They thought it was from Belgium.
The barrel measures 23 1/2 inches, poss. 72 cal.
The lock looks as if it was replaced at some point. Lots of markings all over this thing. Several are not very visible anymore. I don’t know the language yet for describing the gun, so hopefully the photos will speak for themselves. Thanks for any help you can give.

Altered from flintlock, and rifled. If I can get a chance I’ll find my French percussion musket book and hopefully find out more.
