I know that there are mixed feelings about the bi-anual get together at Friendship. But who besides Many Klatch is going to be there?

This range officer/powder monkey/shopper/camper will be there with a big grin on my face on both weekends. I camp in 6 Acres, usually in the second or third row, in a white GMC Blazer. I'd welcome some visitors.

Yep I'll be there, Grizz will be there too now that he is a gentleman of leisure. There are a few others of us online here that should be showing up. Grizz and I will be in the cabins at the top of Primitive Hill, come on up and set on the porch and jaw a while. We just might put together a Muzzleloading Forum shoot. The woodswalk is always fun and I understand that they are changing the targets for the smoothbore agg up in the valley.

I'll get there on Sun. Once again I'll be running the Bill Large match on Wed. Come on up & give it a try. No doubt there'll be a gun to try if you want to give log shootin a go.

Won't be there the first weekend, goint to Vegas to celebrate the Daughters 30th birthday. Hope to win a bunch so when I make it down Tuesday I can buy whatever I want.

Many,
I saw that it was your birthday today. Hope it was spent out on the range with your favorite gun.

No such luck, work is the curse of the shooting class. I hope to get plenty of shooting this next week.

I'll be there on the 20th can't make it before :( . My son's going to try chunk gun for first time and grandaughter shooting agg.NN again. I'm shooting agg. H and we are all looking forward to the usual great time.

I will be there the 13th. Picked up a new muzzleloader and need to see if someone would know the value of it. Look forward to meeting some of you from the forum!

Thank you Hurrican Ike, for destroying the first weekend of Friendship. For those familiar with the lay out of Friendship: 90% of the sheep sheds were closed due to wind and no electricity, the primitive section was closed to the public because a tree fell on a tent and injured the woman in side, and the flee market was blown all over the grounds. So Friendship was a bust. I helped clear road debris in at least 3 counties because every road out was blocked with downed trees.

Yep. I went home Sunday afternoon instead of Monday as planned. We had to help move trees off the road too. That wind was really somethin'! :shocked2: Lotta damage. I hope no one was seriously injured.

These were straight line winds measured at the Cinn. airport at 75 MPH. The entire Ohtuckyanna area has been without power for 3 days. 600,000 homes without power. Trees down everywhere, rooves gone. Water pumping stations down.

So far there are 6 known deaths due to wind and several more due to houses burning from candle use.

Preteens are out in the yard playing for the first time in their lives, but they are twitching badly due to computer game withdrawal.

that is probably soooooooooooo true! and soooooo verry sad! :shake: :(

The lady in the tent had a broken ankle. It took three pins and some screws to put her ankle back together again. Considering the size of the tree that came down on her she was lucky to be alive. I was just a few yards from the crash when it happened. There were 20 people working to get her out within 30 seconds.
