Well,it looks like we ain't going to make it to the Spring Shoot. :shake: Bummer. Oh well,hopefully,there will be the Fall Shoot to come to the rescue! :haha: :thumbsup:

I'll probably spend a day there.I live about an hour and a half away. It takes a whole day to just see all the booths.I always buy something and I've spent some big money there too.I'd like to do some trading too.I've got a 1853 Enfield I'd like to trade on a flint smoothbore.I always dream of buying a pair of buck skin pants,but I know I'd never wear them. :hatsoff:

I beleive they have one north of Phenix in the winter.Always wanted to go to that.

I'll be there Sat-Wed. My first time, don't plan to shoot but will be doing lots of watching and shopping.

One of these days I am going to not shoot so much and take in some of the sights. Never have been to the fly markets.

I will have at least two guns with me, both GPR's, one cap and one rocklock. Maybe more. I don't plan on shooting, but...

The main reason I'm going is just because, well, I can, if that makes any sense. I really do intend to spend a lot of time looking at hardware with the idea to purchase, if not next week then eventually. I want to see what catches my eye so that once I turn loose the purchase order I'll have a firm idea what I'm after.

i have a very good friend that will be set up ,he made several small rifles with 11-12-1/2 lop and scaled down dimensions ,managed to keep the prices 400-and under want's to sell them to parents as entry level rifles for youngsters to get started in black powder, :applause:

Ben, back when I WAS going to Friendship, there used to be a couple of traders at the flea market that specialized in old muzzleloaders; I bought a few there but spent most of my time either shooting or shopping. That trip must take you a couple of long days driving!

Yeah, it would be a heck of a long trip! But, we used to live just a short drive from Friendship. Yesterday, we went to a local muzzleloading shoot. It was pretty fun.
