Free patch lube recipe!
Frontier's Pepto Patch Lube & Bore Cleaner
16oz Birchwood Casey no.77 muzzle magic cleaner.
2oz ( 4 table spoons ) Ballistol.
Simply add the No.77 muzzle magic to a larger container, add 2oz of Ballistol, shake well and you are done!
This combo seriously makes an outstanding range lube and bore cleaner.
Due to cost, I only use it to swab my bore, and lube my shooting patches.
The color should literally be pepto pink when everything is mixed together.
The Ballistol is simply in there to help cut the crud, but more importantly, to leave behind the slick oil coating that'll act more like a fully clean barrel.
After swabbing the bore clean, always follow up with a dry Patch or two.
