Have a very nice barely used Frost River Nessmuk back pack. Looks like new. These are $280.00 new I will send this one to your door for $210.00. Not looking to trade for anything. Really nice practical heavy duty pack. You can go to Frostriver.com to see the specs on it and get a little more info. Thanks for looking.

With all respect MountainSmoke, what your offering does have significant value.
But, just a hint; this is kind of a traditional forum,,(?) and marketing for a modern design like that might not get a lot of hit's here.
Good Luck, honest,,

Along that line..., I was thinking the same thing, so ...
I checked the classified guidelines, and it doesn't say that a modern pack is verboten, AND a lot of the folks that hunt with traditional muzzleloaders or shoot them at targets, do it with modern gear,
So..., play-on...

If you know anything about who Nessmuk was than you would know he was a die hard muzzleloader shooter and writer from the 1800s. This pack is a modern replica of the pack design that he used for years. A TC Hawken or a Pedersoli Brown Bess or a modern made powder horn are replicas as well. How is a Woolrich shirt acceptable but not this quality reproduction of a mid 1800s pack? Sorry but I am missing something.

Wait- You are claiming this back pack is a replica of a 19th Century pack? :dunno:
From the Frost River website, the design may be a bit later than some would like, but only by a few years. A lot more modern stuff posted here for sale than this pack in my opinion. Per Frost River’s website ‘It is a reproduction of writer George Washington Sears' (a.k.a Nessmuk's) old Maine guide pack from the 1880's’. Personally think the pack would look good with a traditional muzzleloader, maybe an Ohio or planes rifle half stock.

Don't you guys have anything better to do than nitpick my listing. Every other item for sale on here is not a 100% replica. Scroll down below my item and tell me how many exact replicas are for sale but no one is being critical of them. Is picking on me and ruining my ad entertaining for you?

My sincere apologies to members and moderators of this forum that this listing has progressed in the fashion that it has.

I meant no disrespect with my comment at all, only a shared observation, my thought was to encourage patients as it might apply to a sale listing.
I'm sorry,,
I am most happy you have found a buyer.
Again I'm sorry if I have offended,, it's been a lesson for me.

I’m not nitpicking but I just sold my large Frost River bushhrcraft on eBay for close to my purchase price when I bought it.
