YEP. "Getting NEKKID" generally takes your mind off the hot weather.
(CHUCKLE)

Fyi, two of my uncle's favorite sayings was, "Love thy neighbor but don't get caught!" AND "Children generally don't have as much fun in their childhood as their elders do in their adultery."

yours, satx

Or the maid on the game show who described the family she worked for as, "Two children, one adult and one adultress!"

there's folks here in the Blue Ridge/Smokys that gather up baskets of them. some are used fresh and some trimmed, packed tightly in pint jars and vinegar/salt added to pickle. those are tasty in wintertime when pots of soup beans are cooked up.
I've had them that way, good. but not pickled any myself. I prefer chow-chow relish.

Just be careful if you try and pick them your self. Death camus looks and smells much like wild leeks. I dont know if you can die from eating it but it sure can make you taste your dinner twice.Second time you get a mouth full aint as good as the first. :haha: I've been caught twice.

they are easy to identify, first they grow only in humid areas.
check on the web for more I.D.
still some may be found around here in higher places.
