Here is a shooting bag not quite new but just broken in. It measures 7 3/4" wide and 8" deep. There is one inside pocket sewed to the back side of the bag. The bag is gusseted completely around. It is very roomy and easily handles all your "stuff" for a day in the woods or a trail walk.
