I have for sale a genuine American bison horn representative of the fur trade era. Brand new, unused, hand made by me. The staple on top is from a super old cattle fence that was all rusty, I heated it and dipped it in oil to blacken it. The smaller staple was given the same treatment. The plug is oak with a walnut stain. It features 8 wooden pegs holding the base plug in, they are hard to see because they also were stained walnut. The stopper is made from a deer antler I harvested and stained in tea for an aged look. The horn was polished good with some of the bark left on for a slightly rougher look. The beads leading to the stopper are old old French glass pony beads in bodied blue and periwinkle blue, these beads were around during the fur trade and are discontinued. The horn size is as follows: 12.5” on bottom of horn or 16” from butt to stopper along the bottom. 9” on top of the horn or 11” from top of butt to stopper. And 9.5” in circumference on the big end of the horn. It should hold quite a bit of powder. I am asking $155 free shipping to lower 48 USA. I accept PayPal friends and family, cash, personal check, and usps money order. Thanks for looking.
