FYI Graf & Sons Black powder sale

I'm a Triple Seven guy but while on Grafs website I noticed Black Powder on sale ..enough to cover shipping/hazmat is you order a case of 25

I'm no expert with black powder brands as for the last 10 years I've used mostly Pyrodex and Black MZ. However, I met a feller about a year ago when I was shooting in the desert on the east side of 87 where it meets the Bush Highway. He was using it in a 50 cal Hawken Woodsman and liked it a lot. He said it was less expensive as Goex. I'm sure one of the veterans here will chime in to help.

Is their Brand powder any good?

Graf's powder is actually Scheutzen powder. They buy it in bulk and repackage it.
It is good powder.

Correct sir. But, as you said, I'd buy more. Order 10 lbs. at a time. It's not going to get any cheaper over the years. Keep your powder kegs full!

I recently placed an order with them for 4 pounds of fff powder. Even after adding the shipping and hazmat fees I was still saving $33 compared to buying the same amount at the gunshop in my area.

Yep. Bought a case of assorted Graf’s house brand. Worked out around $22/lb.
