Gaggle of jakes

Boy, would my turkey dog love to scatter that flock. Only have 2 weeks in southern zone of NYS to hunt them in the fall. Used to have about 7 weeks. My previous 2 dogs had a much longer time in the woods.

Cool pics! Just a FYI, but Gaggle is the term for a group of geese. A group of turkeys is called a Rafter, but both can be called a flock as well.

I had the same first thought, so I looked it up. "Gaggle" is one of many correct terms for a group of turkeys.

Since these were all Jakes, a "mob" or "gang" would maybe be most appropriate.
