Ok fellers when i get my 45 flinter i have a good idea on how to make it work by readen all the good info on this hear board and good ways to clean a pinned longrifle.
With my 54 gpr i remove the storage oil with rubbing alkey and dry patch and snap a couple of caps.
With a flinter do i clean and then shoot off a load in the pan or just do a regular fouling shot or both?
Last thing i want is starting off the first day shooten with my new flinter and having a flash in the pan because the powder is a little wet down in the breech plug.
Also can i get by without too much of a delay by using goex 3f in the pan and barrel both?I know 4f would probably be best in the pan but is there a big noticable difference?
