Hi all the wife gave me the go head to get a new 36 Cal rifle what are some your choices.

TC Seneca, no longer made, won't be cheap or easy to find either.

custom barrel made up for something you already have or can get like a TC Hawken with 15/16 barrel.

I have always shot a Lyman and they don't make a 36 Cal. So that why I wanted some feed back I see that Traditions and Dixie gun works both have 36 Cal.

I recently found a TC Seneca in 36 cal at a small local gunshow for a bargain. After shooting the 50s all the time, the little 36 is a refreshing change.

Fair Warning! It will sneak up on you and quickly become your favorite fun shooter.

True. The .32s and .36s are great fun and teach as well as the bigger guns. They are the .22s of muzzleloading.

Many here are partial to underhammers, like this .36 Hopkins & Allen
