Getz barrels of Pa

Can anyone/ or does anyone have a Don Getz barrel and could post a picture of his barrel stamp or description? Thanks

It’ll say Getz, Beaverton, PA. Something like that.

The ones I have simply say Getz , written with electric pencil scriber. Can't say that's the only ID markers **** and Donny used over the years , that's all I know.

Don’t know what the mark looks like since John, Don’s son took over the business after Don’s passing, but John has done little to build up the company’s reputation since Don’s demise maybe 7 or 8 years ago.

Yes I have been hearing the same since 2018, think Don would be rolling…

Another clue who made the barrel , if **** and Donny made a barrel , it had round bottom or square bottom groove rifling , with 7 lands , and grooves. Most groove depths were around .016 deep. Just super good barrels.

I would not ever accuse one of such but I do absolutely believe in due diligence when someone can’t substantiate a build.. thats all…”caveat emptor” my friend… caveat emptor!

You would be surprised what goes on in volumes in the gun trade market today.
