An op card is usually a 1/8 inch fiber wad that goes over your powder (op) with your prb over it. For me I get better accuracy with one. It helps the powder burn more evenly an also helps with the cleanup afterwards. Nitro cards are the same except they are thinner an some folks use them as an over the shot wad in thier shotguns.
 
Dan, How do you like the rear sight on your GM barrel? I am thinking about taking the traditional sights off my old barrel and putting them on the GM barrel. Great shootin my friend! :thumbsup:

I'm trying your slim sight idea on my 50 cal TC Hawken. I never liked the ball sitting on top of the front sight, it would cover the whole 8.5"X11" target at 60 and 70 yards. I'll be trying the modified sight in a few days at the club range. :thumbsup:

Nice group, we'll have to get together this summer and shoot on my range. I have a GM 54 that needs to be shoot and have the best load found.
