Just got in an order from Grafs. 10 pounds, mix 2F and 3F and 1 pound of 4F.
All Grafs house brand, which currently is Wano Industries. Schuetzen. . Good enough for this pilgrim.
Brings my supply up to 35 pounds. Some of it Goex. I’m challenged to tell the difference at my level of revolver shooting.
I’m just mentioning that there are other black powders available.

Or the Royale with Cheese when in France

Their website says they have to sell with a hazmat fee of $48 for per.
This is the reason to order in quantities it spreads the shipping and Hazmat out to just a little per lb. So by the case delivered to Ca. came to $27 a lb.
Doc,

We're on track to restart production soon.

Yes, we are hiring and looking for some good maintenance operators.
Good to hear! When down to my last couple pounds of Old Eynsford, I finally broke down and ordered ten pounds of 3f Swiss from Graf's. Looking forward to the day when I can order more Old Eynsford.

Some in my area are paying $18 to start at fast food joints.

In the end, it's all about the local economy. A young person starting out in a job that they have no experience in might be thrilled to start at 15.

Hey Karl. It’s been good seeing you pop in from time to time. Have you been using Swiss or Scheutzen while you’re waiting for production to start rolling or d you have a secret stash? ;-) I haven’t used GO-EX in some years, mostly Swiss and had started using some Olde Eynsford when production halted. That was very good powder and if you can produce it’s equal now I’ll definitely be a user. Keep up the good work!

PS… have you thought of producing percussion caps? I’m sure there’d be a significant
startup cost but a reliable year round source for high quality caps would have customers lining up at your door…

Can someone point out the Goex powder making facilities on Google Maps? I found the address but nothing that looks like a powder mill far away from other things.

We’re getting close to restarting. I've just started getting into black powder shooting, but a friend of mine has some powder.
We have thought about percussion caps. We started looking at it, but the focus has been on getting powder back into production. Once we get the powder going, we'll see about the caps.

Red can Goex will come first since it's faster to make and in high demand, but we'll get Olde Eynsford running again too later this year.
