Anyone here have any experience with Goex Pinnacle powder BP sub. in either a rock lock or nipple gun?

I inquired and Goex replied, they appeared to think it is WD-40 and duct tape rolled into one package.

They did say they had no fine granulation for the primming pan at this time, but one could grind up their own. I would think they are a bit optimistic and a honest BP would be required for that purpose, but I have been proven wrong before.

I can only say that BM3 contended that its powder would work in a flintlock, and that you should rub a pinch between your fingers for priming powder. :bull: I tried it and it just doesn't work. The powder is great stuff for caplocks, however, and does clean up as advertised. If the new Goex powder will work like real black powder and clean up as easily as BM 3 I'll buy some, despite the high cost. graybeard
