to all. Hello from Oklahoma. Looking to expand my shooting horizons to include blackpowder. I am a target shooter rather than hunter. I have room to shoot here at the house and am researching gun options.

A big Texas howdy to ya, Bill. Welcome aboard. You came to the right place to pick up ideas and info. C'mon in.

OKBill, welcome to the forum. You will find tons of info here. If you don't see what you want, then just ask.

Welcome, I am also from Oklahoma, Norman area. I have a half dozen rifles and smoothbores, both flint and percussion. Also active in BPCR silhouettes and Cowboy Action. I shoot BP in about everything! PM me as you narrow your gun chocies down if you want to shoot some of mine to help make your choices. I also have a range out back.

Well this is a good place to research traditional black powder for sure. A word of caution.....once you start shooting traditional style black powder weapons it's terribly addictive. My centre fire rifles spend way more time gathering dust than they would like.
