Good morning from Conestoga Pennsylvania (Lancaster county). My brother-in-law 'Flanders' directed me to this site. I have been a BP fan for 35 years starting with a TC Hawken and slowly moving backwards in time and authenticity. I just bought a .62 smoothbore and I am excited to get it in the woods!

Welcome from Missouri! Also, being a bird lover, I really like your name!

The Peregrine Falcon, for those who don't know, is the fastest animal in the world. Reaching speeds up to 200 MPH in a dive! (Edit: a google fact check of my statement says up to 240!)

Again welcome to a great forum, Justin

Welcome from north central Pa.. I too have had the .62 distraction , but have used only rifled .62's. Built a Jager .62, and collected much venison w/ it. In time I thought a slightly longer barrel w/longer sighting plane would allow me to reach out like I used to w/ my old .50 competition long rifle. So , built a long rifle w/ 38 " x .62 cal.. W/this rifle made the longest shot of my deer hunting career. One thing about a .62, If you can hit 'em , you will git 'em...Good huntin' to ya...... oldwood
