My Kibler is due early, she is arriving today, I am so stoked! Now all I need to do is keep my roof on the top of my house! I’ve lived in west central Florida pretty much all my life, and I ain’t never seen this before!

I think it sucks when you are prevented form working on a great, long awaited, project by either weather or other life issues. The storm will pass and hope to see the results of your work. It is tough to wait -especially in the dark.

As for Tsunamis I think it funny that NANOOS (the Tsunami map folks) color their inundation prediction zones Brown, Yellow and green. Use your imagination on the first two!!.

Crap! Looks like that ******* is is going to blow right into Tampa Bay, my mama and daddy’s old house is maybe 6 feet above sea level! So is Mac Dill Air Force base!
I plan on working on the Colonial till the power gos out, then keep working on her under a kerosene lamp!

I went through two typhoons (Pacific hurricanes) at sea many years ago.
It's like being on a nasty carnival ride for 3 - 4 days.

"how high's the water momma?" "six feet and rising." bought a condo in Naples and sold it, never having stayed in it once. only lost 225k on it!
don't let that colonial get wet! salt water plays hob with most finishes. hope you keep dry! on the outside anyway! have heard of those Hurricane parties!
