Last night I did a little scouting of a small farm pond. I the farmer told me he chases geese off this water most every day.
While I setup for geese (18 decoys), I noticed about 15 mallards flying over the tree-line, but did not see any geese. This made me believe that they are arriving in the morning not the evening.
So this morning I set up the decoys at 7:00 a.m. loaded my Pedersoli 10 ga with 4 drams 2F and 1
