I got my Green Mountain barrel for my Renegade today and I cant wait to shoot it. It is nearly a drop in fit to, just have to make a 16th of an inch notch in the forestock due to the under rib being that much longer on the GM barrel. I wont be able to move my shoulder after this Friday.

Easier for me to refinish the wood than reblue the metal. I only needed to take off a wee bit in any case and managed to do this on my lunch with a file. The barrel now fits like a glove and has my buddy here drooling over it. What solvent do you guys suggest to remove envious saliva?

Envious saliva is a solvent. Collect it and use it to wipe between shots.

What cal. did you get? And is it slow twist for prb? I've been thinking about a 58 cal. prb barrel for my Renagde. Let us know how it performs.

He got a 1-28 twist for conicals. I saw the GM barrelhe bought last night and I gotta say its awsome, the sights are the best ive seen on a barrel. makes me want a old renegad and Id buy the same barrel.

I still have the rest of my ML gang for them days I am feeling archaic. I just want one of the five of them to be able to shoot larger rounds to hunt with.

I am taking it out on Friday and the two of us are going to get real close. I will post results but only post pictures if the groups are good.
