There are collectors whose interests lay in dug and relic items like this one and this is an extremely fine one, a premium. Any attempts at preservation, cleaning, oiling etc. would have a major impact on its value. The holster and belt may be worth more than the revolver.

I compared the loading lever latch and barrel lug with a Colt and missed the locking notches. Good to see Mike was on top of it.
