You won't regret the GPR, perc or flint. I have 2 GPR percussions, one 50 and one 54. Find myself picking up the 54 most of the time though.

got all the gunk out of it and that barrel is as smooth as my CVA after a few hours of some 0000 steel wool lapping, if not smoother. Now just gotta wait for this rain to stop so i can go out and play. I know it can be done, but i'm not gonna make my first time with a flinter in the rain--have a feeling it will be frustrating enough in dry weather the first time or two out. Part of the challenge though, so just need to get started.
