Tom, if you look at the top right side of the page you will see a box that says Free Classified Ads. You can click on it and post your GPR there for sale. Good luck. I think if you stick with the flintlock though you will get to know it and really like it. Takes a little more practice than a caplock, but they are fun once you learn your gun. Maybe you shouldn't give up on it so fast. It will take you a few hundred rds to get to know what it likes and don't like. Hang in there and you may find you truly like it.

Since you are ASKING for help in establishing a price, I don't see harm in leaving the post here. (Being a recurve lover myself doesn't hurt in cutting you some slack). When you arrive at a figure you should create a free classified ad by clicking through the upper box under the Muzzleloader Forum logo at the top left of the header page.

The rifle itself, start at maybe $270 or $280 depending on how "new" it appears :imo: A new one is $327.57 from Midsouth.

"All the needed equipment" has a lot of lattitude. Plastic powder container vs. can the powder came in with a spout added vs. custom powder horn, etc, etc. "Need" is a relative term.

The accessories are not the cheap stuff but not the most expensive either, just the brass flask, brass powder measures, and some cleaning gear. Anyway, thank you for the help, I think I have a good idea of what to shoot for.

I would keep it but I very soon found out that the flintlock rifle is just like the recurve or long bow when it comes to practice and dedication, I put many many arrows across the shelf of my bow to stay proficient at hunting distances and I just plain ole don
