I was just reading an advertisment about Graf Black Powder. Distributed by Graf and Sons. $9.99 a pound in the ad. Has anybody messed with this stuff yet?

I could be wrong but I read someplace that it is made for them by the WANO folks.Graf and Sons are a pretty good outfit to deal with.

I tried a couple of pounds of it last summer. Its pretty good for me. Grafs (Wano) powder is compareable to GOEX in burn and energy. I Chrono'd loads with my rifles and Grafs(Wano) and goex were within 5fps of each other shot for shot. I liked it enough that I went for a whole case of Grafs(Wano)for this year. I use 3f in both my 50cal and 54cal rocklocks. Hope this helps you. BambiSlayer

:agree: with BambiSlayer! i have used several pounds
of both 2ff,and 3fff in my .45-.50 & .54 cal hawkins
and i am very satisfied with the results in these
percussion rifles. i have yet to use it in my lyman
GPR flinter but i will. :m2c:
snake-eyes :imo: :) :peace:

I have used 3 or 4 pounds of Graf. (2F) Never cronographed it or anything, but it performs just fine for me. I use it the same as I do Goex.
