One of our members here,Kansan, has a real good article in this months Muzzleblasts.Primitive Scouts and Cross-time Encounters is the title.I had the pleasure of meeting the author at the KMA convention this year as well as his partner in the story.Way to go Don

oops,sorry,meant this for General...

Now that I think about it :hmm: he does have cooking and camping in it so maybe it does belong here...

PaulN/KS,

Aw gosh! You guys are making me blush! ::

I've gotta' admit that the article has been a nice counterpoint to real life lately - Seems like every time I turn around something has gone wrong; I came down with the flu in Georgia in January - Nothin' worse than being deathly ill when you're on the road! In February, I blew a turbo coming out of Albuequerque and spent five days in a cheap motel with nothing to do because the weather was so crappy. And then to top it off, I was parked in a truck stop in Baldwin, Fl. last Wednesday evening (March 2nd) and the guy beside me pulled out , turned too sharp and dragged his trailer over the left front corner of my hood!

I'm finally home now and will be until the truck can be repaired - Think maybe I'm gonna' go on a Scout! I kinda' need to get away from the 21st century for awhile... And besides, we could really use the rain!

Thanks again for the compliments - Glad you enjoyed the article - Just wish the pictures could have been in color!

...The Kansan...

Oh!!! no...not Baldwin. :eek:That is a definit "pit" stop in the world of Fla. :bull: Sorry to hear that. But also glad you made it home OK....well maybe OK :hmm: :hmm:

You were just 30 miles from my house. Next time you have a little problem...You can come here...I can show you a great time and get the truck fixed. :results:
