I think it's rude as hell to jump in when someone posts an ad and offer to buy an item that another person is obviously interested in. It has happened to me more than once on here. If you must do so, at least do it in a pm.

Agreed. Also kinda rude not to mention confusing when Joe Citizen is tryin' to sell his blunderbus and people start postin' about theirs just like it only they got theirs for half what you want for yours til after while ya don't know if yer talkin' to the actual seller or neighbor Nosy Ned.

I agree, Just their manners or the lack of. But on the other side of the coin I was just now in a conversation with another forum member about how many good sales and purchase dealings we have had on the forum. Lots of good folks here.

Thanks

I am surprised at the times people post to a for sale thread instead of sending the selling a PM. And the number of times it “appears” someone has committed to buy only to back out. And yes, there are a lot of tire kickers. On another forum I am a member of the rule is: “I will take it” trumps all.

I concur with Mushka. If one dilly dallies they may miss a sale. If interested you should contact the seller right away with your questions and then make up your mind quickly. That is the nature of this format.
